No. Turkey History is designed as a 100% offline encyclopedia. All texts, content, images, timeline data, and quiz trivia are stored locally on your device. You can use all its features in airplane mode or in remote historical areas without cellular service.
Navigate to the Settings screen (gear icon in the bottom menu) and choose your preferred language. The app supports English, Turkish, and Arabic. Selecting Arabic automatically updates the interface layout to Right-to-Left (RTL) mode immediately without requiring an app restart.
Yes. Your reading progress status, bookmarks, favorites, and quiz achievements are stored locally in a secure SQLite database on your device. Since the app respects your privacy and works offline, this data is not shared or backed up to any cloud server.
Yes. Because all bookmarks, quiz scores, and settings are saved locally on your phone, uninstalling the app will delete this local database. We recommend keeping the app installed to preserve your progress history.
